How to support tall flowers from falling over?

Although many of the flowers I’ve mentioned have sturdy stems to help them stand tall, some of them will need support to stop strong winds and rain from toppling them over. Not only will supporting your flowers stop them from falling over, but it will also make them appear more healthy and beautiful, helping them in growing even taller. For this, you can use supports such as stakes and trellises:

  • stakes: bamboo canes, wooden sticks, and metal rods can all be used to stake single plants. Use twine or any other type of string to tie the stem to the stake as it grow.
  • trellises: they can be used in the same way as stakes but for many plants. As the plant grows, keep tying the stem to the trellis.
